If you request an invoice or make a payment, we may collect billing information and payment-related records such as UPI transaction references or other payment confirmation details.
Please do not send UPI PINs, banking passwords, OTPs, card CVVs or other confidential financial credentials through our website forms, email or WhatsApp.
If you are arranging travel for another person, please share only the information reasonably required to organise the journey and ensure you are authorised to provide it.

Where we use a partner vehicle or operator to fulfil a booking, we may share the information reasonably necessary to perform the journey.

We do not need to provide drivers or vehicle partners with information unrelated to performing the booked service.

We currently use third-party service providers to support the operation of our website and business.
These include Hostinger for website hosting and backup services, Google Analytics 4 for website analytics, Google Tag Manager for tag management, Google Maps for mapping functionality, Gmail for business email communications, WhatsApp for enquiries and booking communications, and Elementor Forms for website enquiry submissions.
These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies, service terms and technical infrastructure. Some providers may process or store information outside India.
At the date of this Privacy Policy, we do not currently use Meta/Facebook Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, reCAPTCHA, YouTube embeds or a live-chat service on this website.
If our website technology changes materially, this Privacy Policy will be updated where appropriate.
Payments
Vihan Tour and Travels currently accepts payments through methods including cash and UPI, depending on the booking arrangement.
We may retain information necessary to confirm that a payment has been made, such as transaction references, amount, date and related booking information.
We do not require customers to provide their UPI PIN, banking password or OTP to us.
Never disclose these credentials to a driver, staff member or anyone claiming to represent Vihan Tour and Travels.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for its intended purpose and applicable business or legal requirements.
Unconverted enquiries: Enquiries that do not result in a booking may normally be retained for up to 6 months, after which they may be deleted or otherwise removed when no longer required.
Booking and trip communications: Booking records and related email or WhatsApp communications may normally be retained for up to 24 months after the journey where reasonably required for customer support, booking history, dispute handling and operational records.
Billing and payment records: Invoices, payment records and accounting information may be retained for the period required under applicable GST, tax, accounting and other legal requirements.
Analytics information: Google Analytics information is retained according to the retention settings configured in our Google Analytics account and Google’s applicable controls.
Website backups: Website backups are created daily through our hosting arrangements. Backup copies are retained according to the retention cycle and settings applicable to our Hostinger hosting plan.
Information may be retained for longer where required by law, an unresolved dispute, regulatory requirement or lawful claim.
When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it, subject to normal backup and technical deletion cycles.
